Nature Reserves Holiday Bonus

Everyone who lives, works or studies in South Lanarkshire can earn rewards for walking, wheeling, cycling and using public transport. The BetterPoints you earn can be spent at participating local businesses, online, or you can donate them to charity. There are also daily and weekly prize draws throughout December! Get down to your local nature reserve over the holidays for double points and a bonus for going regularly.

Whether it's with family, friends or by yourself, South Lanarkshire's nature reserves are a great place to spend time outdoors, do a bit of exercise and walk off that Christmas dinner.

Between the 23 December - 1 January, here's what you can earn:

  • Double BetterPoints for going to the nature reserves (100 BetterPoints per day)
  • 500 BetterPoint bonus for going to the nature reserves 5 times.
  • An extra 1000 BetterPoint bonus for going to the nature reserves 10 times.

You can earn this either by going to the same nature reserve or different ones, you'll still get the bonuses.

  • Blantyre: Blantyre, Bothwell & Uddingston; Greenhall, Milheugh & Barnhill
  • Cambuslang/Rutherglen: Cuningar Loop, Fernbrae Meadows, Holmhills Wood Community Park, Westburn
  • Carluke: Jock's Burn, Milton
  • East Kilbride: Glen Esk Pocket Park, James Hamilton Heritage Park, Langlands Moss, Mossneuk
  • Hamilton: Backmuir Woods, Cadzow Glen, Hamilton Low Parks, Neilsland & Earnock, Udston & Glenlee Woods
  • Larkhall/Stonehouse: Morgan Glen, Stonehouse Park
